Speakers: Dr. Randy Villegas, COS professor. Dr. Dan O’Connell, author of In The Struggle. And Laurie Pessante from the Sierra Club. Congressmen Valadao and Fong were invited to speak too.
It turns out that two hours were not enough to get to all the questions submitted by the audience (chits were distributed at the outset for attendees to write out their questions for panelists to answer). Afterward, attendees & guests mingled amongst themselves amiably. It was a joyous event, though we did miss our members of Congress … If you missed it, click here to watch part 1 and here for part 2.

This was the second town hall event so far over recent years; Mark Arax was among our invited guest at our Water Town Hall held at the Civic Auditorium several months ago. More to come..
